Make an impact supporting students’ academic and behavioral success in a dynamic contract role as a School Psychologist within a vibrant district near Portland, OR. This full-time opportunity spans from mid-February to mid-June, 2026, offering an inspiring blend of engagement with middle and elementary school communities. You’ll spend four days each week at Fowler Middle School and one day at Mary Woodward Elementary, collaborating with dedicated educators and support teams.
Your schedule will be either 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm, allowing you to enjoy steady hours and a predictable routine each week.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active TSPC license for Oregon School Psychology is required
- Demonstrated experience in educational evaluation and eligibility determination
- Expertise in Functional Behavioral Assessment and Behavior Intervention Plan (FBA/BIP) development
- Familiarity with the Response to Intervention (RTI) model for SLD identification
- Strong skills in conducting threat assessments and facilitating manifestation determination meetings
- Commitment to collaborative problem-solving for Tier II & III behavioral and academic support
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive evaluations to determine student eligibility for various support services
- Construct and implement FBA/BIP plans tailored to individual student needs
- Participate in threat assessment and manifestation determination processes for at-risk students
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate targeted interventions for behavioral and academic concerns
- Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of RTI processes within the school environment
