Contract Duration: 2026–2027 School Year
Daily Schedule Options: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a collaborative and student-focused School Psychologist to join the Seaside School District team for the 2026–2027 school year. This part-time position provides an opportunity to support students through comprehensive evaluations, behavioral supports, crisis planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
The School Psychologist will work alongside another school psychologist and partner with educators, specialists, students, and families to promote positive academic, behavioral, and social-emotional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations for special education eligibility.
- Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and support behavior intervention planning.
- Participate in Manifestation Determination Reviews.
- Assist with crisis planning and student support strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in ASD evaluations as part of a team including an SLP and ASD Consultant.
- Provide consultation and recommendations related to student needs.
- Support data-informed decision-making and student success.
Required:
- Active Oregon TSPC School Psychologist license.
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience & Qualities:
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience with the Pattern of Strengths and Weaknesses (PSW) model for SLD identification.
- Experience supporting students in rural communities.
- Background in school-based evaluations and special education processes.
