Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention planning
- Familiarity with special education processes, IEPs, and RTI/MTSS frameworks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to partner effectively with students, families, and staff
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to supporting learning and mental health
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop individualized intervention and support plans in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and problem-solving teams
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, or social-emotional concerns
- Support implementation of evidence-based interventions and school-wide positive behavior supports
- Serve as a resource for staff in understanding student mental health and learning differences
- Maintain documentation and comply with state and federal school psychology guidelines
