In this setting, you'll provide essential psychological services across a caseload of approximately 650 students, focusing primarily on a K-5 elementary school and a shared elementary environment where you'll specifically support K-2 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of MTSS, evaluation, consultation, and risk assessment protocols
- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Commitment to serving elementary school-aged students with diverse backgrounds and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students requiring psychoeducational or behavioral assessment
- Participate actively in MTSS meetings to drive data-informed interventions and support plans
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop individualized strategies for student success
- Perform risk assessments as needed, maintaining sensitivity and integrity in challenging situations
- Collaborate closely with administrators and other school-based professionals to promote a healthy educational environment
