Key Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Familiarity with comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessment administration
- Strong skills in data interpretation, report writing, and creation of evidence-based intervention plans
- Experience providing counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services in a school setting
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff and families
- Offer consultation and intervention strategies to teachers, administrators, and parents
- Provide direct counseling support to students as needed
- Contribute actively to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) teams
- Maintain accurate and timely records and progress documentation
- Support a single building population ranging from early childhood through twelfth grade, maximizing continuity of care
