Key Qualifications:
- Eligible for or willing to obtain Michigan School Psychologist Certification before starting
- Experience in school-based psychological support preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Proactive team approach and flexibility to work across elementary and secondary settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and provide psychological services
- Develop and implement targeted intervention and support strategies
- Collaborate with teachers and team members to foster student growth
- Engage with families to support student mental health and well-being
- Assist with a range of building-level duties beyond standardized testing
- Help lead efforts to promote a healthy, inclusive school climate
Position Snapshot:
- Contract role for the full 2026–2027 school year, August through June
- Serve 1–2 of the district’s five school buildings in-person
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
