Key Qualifications:
- Current Michigan School Psychologist certification is required
- Previous experience as a school psychologist or related role strongly preferred
- Proficiency with observations, performing evaluations, and conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Skilled in collaborating during IEP meetings and providing expert behavioral insights
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to assist with educational planning and interventions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering valuable input regarding student needs
- Lead and document detailed behavioral observations and FBAs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to formulate individualized recommendations
- Deliver guidance for student interventions and follow-up support
- Maintain compliance with all relevant state and school policies
