Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Prior experience in elementary settings is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and developing plans
- Strong communication and consultation abilities with students, families, and educators
- Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities include:
- Providing psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling for elementary students
- Supporting program development and contributing to IEP meetings
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs
- Collaborating with the educational team to create positive solutions
- Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation
