Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state certification or license in School Psychology
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing reports
- Strong knowledge of special education processes and eligibility criteria
- Ability to develop and implement student-centered interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse populations
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for referred students to determine cognitive, academic, and social-emotional strengths and needs
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with staff on classroom strategies and behavioral interventions to support positive student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on psychological services and student supports
- Support crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments as needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
