Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- State certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Experience in educational settings preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of current laws and best practices relating to student services and special education
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students
- Develop and collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
- Advise teachers and families on behavioral and academic interventions
- Support crisis response teams and develop plans for student safety and well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to school-wide initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and safeguard student confidentiality
