Are you a passionate Behavior Psychologist looking to make an immediate impact in a school community? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a supportive educational team in the St. Paul, Minnesota area for a short-term contract assignment beginning at the start of the school year and continuing through early December.
This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who enjoys collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve meaningful academic, social, and behavioral success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments and evaluations for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based behavior intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and families to support student growth.
- Provide consultation and recommendations regarding classroom management strategies and behavioral supports.
- Analyze behavioral data and monitor student progress.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized educational planning.
- Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district requirements.
Qualifications
- Master's degree, Specialist degree, or Doctorate in Psychology, School Psychology, Behavioral Psychology, or a related field.
- Current Minnesota licensure/certification (cannot be clinical license).
- Experience working with school-aged students preferred.
- Strong knowledge of behavior assessment tools, intervention strategies, and positive behavior supports.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
