Working near vibrant San Francisco, you’ll split your time between one day on-site and another day conducting virtual services, all focused on K-5 students. The ideal professional brings expertise as a school psychologist and is proficient in both English and Spanish, ready to connect with diverse children and families in the school community.
Qualifications:
- Valid credential or license as a School Psychologist
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to better support multilingual students and families
- Prior experience or strong interest in providing psychological services in a K-5 educational setting
- Familiarity with hybrid work, balancing on-campus presence with virtual service delivery
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Compassion and resourcefulness when addressing the needs of students with varying backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional strengths and needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success and well-being
- Offer counseling and support services to students as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expertise to inform student supports
- Deliver consultations and workshops for staff and parents as appropriate
