Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state-issued School Psychologist credential (mandatory)
- Experience in school-based psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention planning
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP process, and evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and maintain professional deadlines
- Openness to onsite work exclusively (remote options are not available)
- Suitable for travel professionals open to relocation for the contract period
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services including assessments, crisis intervention, and counseling
- Contribute to educational and behavioral planning by developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized programs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary discussions, and collaborative problem-solving
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student mental health and academic outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
