We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join the Dekalb County School District for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success within a collaborative school environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Interpret assessment data and prepare detailed reports
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Provide consultation and recommendations to support student achievement and well-being
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee State School Psychologist certification/licensure required
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Previous school-based experience highly preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
