School Psychologist in San Juan, TX

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or current Trainee Status Letter issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Experience working as a School Psychologist or Psychometrist in K-12 educational environments
- Strong evaluation, counseling, and report writing skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, families, and other service providers
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K–12 students
- Develop and implement intervention strategies and behavior management plans
- Provide direct counseling and consultation services
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate regularly with educators and parents to support individual student needs
