Key Qualifications:
- Active CT Educator Certification required
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Experience or strong comfort level working with K-12 student populations and varied caseloads
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and families
- Strong communication, assessment, and counseling skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and develop interventions
- Deliver culturally responsive, evidence-based counseling and consultation services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster supportive learning environments
- Interpret assessment data, create reports, and help design student intervention plans
- Support crisis intervention and promote overall mental wellness among students
This onsite opportunity features weekly hours ranging from 30 to 32.5, spanning from late August to late May, with dates subject to minor adjustments. The position requires adaptability, as you may work across various grade levels to address a broad spectrum of student needs.
