Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Strong communication and report writing abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and academic assessments, interpret results, and write detailed reports
- Participate in identification and eligibility meetings, recommending evidence-based interventions
- Support IEP processes through assessment, progress monitoring, and consultation
- Deliver individual or group counseling services based on student needs
- Act as a resource for teachers and parents, offering strategies to support learning and behavior
- Facilitate crisis interventions and develop support plans as needed
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and legal requirements in school psychology
