Step into a vital role supporting student success by applying your expertise as a School Psychologist in a high school environment. This full-time, contract opportunity is based onsite and spans from August 24, 2026, through May 2027, with the potential to continue into the remainder of the school year. You’ll be working a 35-hour week, partnering with students, educators, and families to promote a healthy, positive learning environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, interventions, and consultations.
- Administering evaluations and preparing thorough PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reports.
- Managing a high school caseload, supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement effective support plans.
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Upholding compliance with local and state regulations.
To thrive in this position, we’re looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist licensure and certification in Connecticut.
- Demonstrated school-based experience working with diverse populations, preferably at the high school level.
- Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, special education processes, and best practices in school psychology.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive educational environments.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite and engage in school activities as needed.
- Availability for a Zoom interview.
