Key Qualifications:
- Active school psychologist licensure and certification in Connecticut
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting is essential
- Proficiency with evaluation administration and PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reporting
- Ability to manage a full-time schedule: 35 hours per week
- Skilled in supporting the diverse needs of high school students
- Professional, collaborative, and communicative approach to working with educators and families
- Comfortable participating in a virtual interview via Zoom
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for high school students
- Prepare thorough PPT reports and participate in student support meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on intervention strategies and educational planning
- Provide direct and indirect support to students to help foster an inclusive and supportive school environment
- Uphold all ethical and legal standards of the field while maintaining accurate records
