Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid and current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Ability to write thorough assessment reports and recommend interventions
- Strong collaboration skills to engage with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Understanding of IEP and 504 plan development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify educational, cognitive, and behavioral needs of students
- Develop, recommend, and support intervention strategies to promote students’ academic, emotional, and social growth
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to help determine eligibility for special education services
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning outcomes
- Support crisis situations and provide short-term counseling as needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of services and progress
- Stay current on best practices and compliance with relevant laws and guidelines
