Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for approval)
- Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and participating in IEP/504 meetings
- Knowledge of special education regulations and multi-tiered systems of support
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support eligibility and program decisions
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to design and implement effective academic and behavioral interventions
- Contribute actively to IEP and other student support meetings
- Provide individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school setting
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
