Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (required)
- Previous experience in preschool/early childhood settings preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral intervention for young learners
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to consult with multidisciplinary teams & families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide First Step Transition behavioral intervention services to Pre-K students
- Implement behavioral coaching, teacher consultations, progress monitoring, and collaborative family support
- Support transition to school readiness, social-emotional development, and positive classroom behavior
- Conduct and participate in multidisciplinary evaluations, including two-day testing with staff such as OT, PT, SLP, and others
- Engage with families, educators, and support personnel on individualized intervention plans
- Primary caseload of around 70 Pre-K students in a specialized preschool setting
