Full-Time | Full School Year | Elementary Student
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Stafford Springs, CT.
This position will provide behavioral support to a first-grade student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The student also has paraprofessional support, making this a collaborative 2:1 support setting.
The RBT will be responsible for implementing the student's Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP), collecting behavioral data, and working alongside the classroom team to support the student's needs.
The student exhibits behaviors that may include aggression, elopement, property destruction, and disrobing. Candidates should be comfortable working with behavioral challenges and implementing appropriate de-escalation and safety strategies.

Setting: 1:1 behavioral support with additional paraprofessional support
School Hours: 8:30 AM–3:00 PM
RBT Hours: Approximately 7:45 AM–3:15 PM
Responsibilities:
Implement the student's Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
Collect and document behavioral data.
Support behavioral interventions and de-escalation.
Collaborate with the classroom team and paraprofessional.
Promote student safety and engagement throughout the school day.
