Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position for the upcoming school year with school districts in the Stafford, Virginia area. This role offers an opportunity to support student success through assessment, intervention, and collaboration within a dynamic school-based environment.
Position Overview:

- Location: Stafford, Virginia area
- Assignment for the upcoming school year
Requirements:
- Active Virginia Department of Education (VA DOE) School Psychologist certification
- Active Virginia Psychology Licensure
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Compliance with all Virginia state and local district requirements
- Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and eligibility determinations
- Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive reports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Develop and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services as needed
- Assist in developing behavior intervention plans and student support strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
