Key Qualifications:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or the willingness to pursue Michigan licensure promptly if relocating from another state
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
- Background in assessment and intervention, with strong skills in report writing and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, student-focused approach
- Comfort working in-person in a school environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for students to determine academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Develop and help implement individualized education and intervention plans
- Serve as a resource for teachers, parents, and administrators on mental health and learning strategies
- Support positive behavioral intervention programs throughout the school
- Contribute to district-wide projects, expanding beyond solely testing to assist with a variety of psychological services
- Manage a caseload assigned to 1–2 buildings, working collaboratively with a team of three school psychologists across the district
