Key Qualifications:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification required (or willingness to obtain MI licensure prior to the start date; open to out-of-state travelers ready to become licensed)
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and crisis response
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
- A proactive, flexible approach to supporting diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Develop, implement, and monitor interventions and behavioral support plans
- Provide direct consultation and resources to educators and families
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Engage in building-level mental health promotion and prevention efforts beyond standardized testing
- Maintain detailed, confidential student records and reports
Work Details:
- Contract position, onsite only, for the full 2026–2027 school year (August 25, 2026 – June 11, 2027)
- Full-time schedule, 37.5 hours per week
- Assignments span 1–2 school buildings within a district supporting elementary through high school students
