Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with high school students preferred
- Strong background in counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students
- Ability to collaborate with faculty and school staff to ensure comprehensive student support
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling to high school students, addressing a range of social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to identify students requiring additional support
- Create and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Help students set personal goals and explore strategies for academic and personal success
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and professional standards
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
