Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold an active Virginia Psychologist license
- Previous experience in school psychology preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling abilities
- Proficient in data-driven decision making and intervention planning
- Skilled communicator with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable and collaborative; able to thrive in diverse educational settings
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for individualized plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and emotional growth
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Offer guidance to teachers, administrators, and parents on student needs and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the development of accommodations
- Maintain timely, accurate student records in compliance with regulations
