Qualifications & Experience:
- Current VA School Psychologist License required
- Background in conducting thorough psychological assessments and diagnostic testing
- Experience recommending interventions to address student challenges and improve learning
- Comfort providing both individual and group therapeutic interventions
- Familiarity with behavior modification techniques
- Capable of effective communication with students, parents, and school staff
- Proficient in maintaining comprehensive records and preparing progress reports
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnostic exams
- Develop recommendations to support student learning and emotional well-being
- Provide direct therapy to students, individually or in groups
- Assist with identifying and appropriately placing students needing specialized services
