Position Details
- Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- Onsite
- Assignment Dates: August 5, 2026 – May 26, 2027
- Location: Gwinnett County School District, GA
- School Year: 2026–2027
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments
- Complete initial evaluations and reevaluations
- Prepare detailed psychological reports and eligibility recommendations
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers
- Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with Georgia Department of Education and federal special education regulations
Qualifications
- Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active Georgia School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching Certification required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report writing skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
