Desired Background & Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts School Psychologist License required
- Experience working with preschool through 2nd grade preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of psychological evaluation, counseling, and intervention techniques in school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Competency with IEP development, progress monitoring, and state/federal compliance
- Commitment to student advocacy and supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Design and facilitate interventions for individuals and groups
- Develop, implement, and monitor student progress and IEP goals
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and support for students and staff as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records, ensuring compliance with all regulations
