School Based Remote School Psychologist - Massachusetts
Qualifications
• Master’s degree, Specialist degree (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree/CAGS in School Psychology from a NASP-approved or accredited program
• Active Massachusetts School Psychologist license issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
• Passing score on the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) Communication and Literacy Skills test
• Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience (school-based and/or teletherapy preferred)
• Experience with IEP development, digital psychological assessments, and virtual service delivery is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Comfortable using teletherapy platforms, digital evaluation tools, and technology

Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Intervention
• Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and support strategies in a remote setting
• Provide direct virtual counseling or crisis intervention services and track student progress
• Use data to guide psychological decisions, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), and student interventions
Collaboration & Support
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student mental health and academic success
• Provide guidance and behavioral strategies for carryover in home and classroom settings
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings, 504 meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions
Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of psychological reports, progress notes, and IEP goals
• Ensure all evaluations and services meet Massachusetts state, district, and federal guidelines
• Complete evaluation summaries, eligibility documentation, and required compliance paperwork
Technology & Teletherapy Tools
• Utilize virtual platforms and secure digital evaluation suites to deliver engaging, compliant sessions
• Adapt assessment materials and techniques for a valid online testing environment
• Troubleshoot basic tech issues and support families with platform use during virtual meetings or assessments
Advocacy & Education
• Support students in accessing appropriate mental health, behavioral, and academic accommodations
• Provide education and resources to families and school teams regarding child development and psychological strategies
