Remote School Psychologist | New York

A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services, supporting students and staff in an educational setting. This role focuses on delivering psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations through remote platforms to assist with students' academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations via telehealth to identify student needs
• Providing counseling and behavioral support to students remotely
• Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings focused on student progress
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of assessments and interventions
• Adhering to ethical standards and state regulations related to telehealth service delivery

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Demonstrated ability to conduct telehealth psychological assessments and interventions effectively
• Knowledge of educational laws, special education services, and student support systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel via virtual platforms
• Experience working in urban school settings is advantageous
