An opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services to support student mental health and educational success. This contract position is based in Cicero, IL, providing remote psychological services within a school setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations remotely to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to implement behavioral and mental health interventions.
- Delivering telehealth counseling sessions to address social, emotional, and academic challenges faced by students.
- Monitoring progress and updating individual education plans (IEPs) or 504 plans as needed.
- Providing crisis intervention and consultation via telehealth platforms.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential records in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure according to state requirements.
- Experience delivering psychological services through telehealth, preferably in educational environments.
- Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school personnel.
- Familiarity with telehealth technology, confidentiality laws (HIPAA and FERPA), and remote documentation practices.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases and deadlines.
