Teletherapy School Psychologist in IL
A contract position is available for a licensed School Psychologist providing telehealth services to support student mental health and learning needs. This role involves collaborating remotely with educational staff to assess, evaluate, and develop interventions tailored to individual students.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results via telehealth platforms.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administration to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Providing crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support using remote methods.
- Documenting evaluations, progress notes, and reports in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings remotely to discuss student progress and plan interventions.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist licensure.
- Experience delivering telehealth psychological services within a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of educational laws, special education, and mental health supports.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and education professionals remotely.
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain accurate documentation independently.
