A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, supporting students via telehealth services within a public school district near New Orleans, LA. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for school-aged children
- Providing telehealth counseling and intervention support
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining detailed, confidential student records and reports
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to behavioral and academic strategies
- Ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines related to school psychology services
Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
- Valid professional license in the state of residence
- Experience with telehealth delivery of psychological services preferred
- Ability to pass district-required drug screening and fingerprinting
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Location: Harvey, LA (New Orleans metro area)
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday following the academic calendar
