We are seeking a compassionate, qualified Virtual School Psychologist to support students, families, teachers, and school teams across West Virginia during the 2026–2027 school year.
This is an excellent opportunity for a school psychologist who enjoys working collaboratively with educators and families while providing high-quality services through a virtual platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual school psychology services to students in a K–12 school setting.
- Conduct educational and psychological assessments and evaluations as appropriate.
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide consultation and collaboration with teachers, administrators, counselors, and families.
- Assist with the development and implementation of student support plans.
- Provide counseling or other direct student services when appropriate to the assignment.
- Support behavioral and academic interventions through consultation and data-informed recommendations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation.
- Communicate effectively with school personnel, students, and families.
- Perform other school psychology duties consistent with the position and school district needs.
Qualifications
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid West Virginia School Psychologist credential/certification or eligibility to obtain the appropriate credential.
- Experience working with K–12 students preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education processes, evaluations, IEPs, and educational interventions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable providing services through secure virtual technology.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with the school-based team.
