A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services, supporting K-12 students and educators in an educational setting.
Location: Suwanee, Georgia
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological evaluations and assessments remotely to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Providing telehealth-based counseling and interventions to support students’ mental health and educational success
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies based on ongoing data collection and feedback
- Adhering to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards specific to telehealth and school psychology practice
- Documenting case notes, reports, and recommendations in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications and experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Georgia
- Proven expertise in delivering psychological services through telehealth platforms
- Strong knowledge of educational and developmental psychology, assessment tools, and intervention techniques
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special education needs
- Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain case documentation in a remote environment
