Remote School Psychologist | Arizona
A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist skilled in telehealth services, based in Tempe, AZ. This role involves delivering psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations remotely to support students' educational and emotional needs within a school setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting virtual psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Providing telehealth counseling and behavioral interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborating with school staff, families, and external professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Documenting assessment results, progress notes, and reports in compliance with district and legal requirements.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings via teleconferencing to discuss student progress and service needs.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience providing telehealth psychological services.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws including IDEA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills conducive to remote collaboration with students, families, and staff.
