Full-time roles are available within high school and elementary settings, including specialized evaluation teams. Assignments run from ASAP through May 21, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week and the opportunity to focus on one school per assignment.
Candidates with experience supporting students with mild to moderate, Affective Needs, and Significant Support Needs on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) will thrive in this setting. Responsibilities include providing direct mental health services, collaborating with special education teams, and conducting thorough Child Find evaluations across various age groups. Bilingual professionals and those with previous SPED experience are strongly encouraged to apply, as some roles focus on conducting bilingual assessments and supporting diverse student populations.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid CO Department of Education Special Service License (SSL) with School Psychologist (Ages 0-21) Endorsement
- Proven experience offering mental health services within special education frameworks
- Background or strong interest in Child Find evaluations or team-based assessments
- Ability to work fully in-person (remote and hybrid options are not available)
- Bilingual skills or Early Childhood Special Education expertise (preferred for select positions)
- Capacity to meet timely credentialing requirements, including completion of district contractor paperwork
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling, assessments, and intervention services to students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Conduct individual and group evaluations, with particular focus on students with special needs
- Support evaluation teams at campus and district levels, including bilingual assessments where applicable
