Responsibilities and Opportunities:
- Serve as a full-time School Psychologist or Social Worker at one assigned high school campus, or contribute to evaluation teams at various elementary schools.
- Provide exceptional mental health services to students with mild to moderate, affective, and significant support needs, delivering services as outlined in student IEPs.
- Conduct Child Find evaluations (including bilingual evaluations if qualified) at North Star Elementary, Centennial Elementary, and possible district-level sites.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to cultivate inclusive and supportive educational environments.
- Maintain thorough documentation, attend relevant meetings, and sustain compliance with district and state practices.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Colorado DOE Special Service License with School Psychologist (Ages 0-21) Endorsement.
- SPED experience preferred.
- Experience serving diverse populations, including students with Significant Support Needs and Affective Needs.
- Bilingual abilities highly valued for certain evaluation roles.
