Ideal candidates will possess:
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active state certification or licensure in School Psychology
- Ability to complete required district credentialing: House Bill 486 background check/fingerprinting and employment history review
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills tailored to working with students, school staff, and families
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, providing interventions, and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive psychological evaluations and supporting the development of accommodation plans for students across varied age groups
- Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to foster student well-being and academic success
- Advising staff and families on intervention strategies and social-emotional supports
- Attending meetings on-site and contributing to ongoing student plans within the school setting
- Navigating pre-employment “prescreen” interviews and district onboarding requirements in a timely manner
