This position features a manageable caseload of approximately 45–50 students, offering meaningful engagement across a diverse age range from elementary through middle school. You’ll be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive assessments, direct counseling, and behavioral interventions tailored to student needs.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Georgia School Psychologist license (required)
- Previous experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and consultation within educational settings
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and compassionately
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and write thorough, actionable reports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective IEPs and intervention strategies
- Deliver individual and group counseling to support students’ social-emotional well-being
- Participate in RTI/MTSS processes and help guide data-driven decision making
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
