Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students (K-6th preferred)
- Strong background in conducting psychoeducational assessments and student evaluations
- Proficiency in developing and implementing intervention strategies
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work efficiently in an in-person, school-based environment
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and student-centered support
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to support students’ academic and mental health needs
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Develop recommendations and strategies for academic and behavioral interventions
- Maintain thorough records and prepare detailed reports in accordance with school policies
- Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
