School Psychologist - Warren, Michigan
A fulfilling opportunity awaits a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist seeking a contract position working with elementary students. Support a welcoming community across three nearby sites—all within a two-mile radius—serving a total of 540 students. Two of these campuses are non-public, creating a dynamic and diverse working environment. This full-time, in-person position begins August 24th, though part-time (three days a week) schedules will also be considered for the right candidate.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education processes, assessments, and interventions
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple locations while maintaining effective collaboration
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide individual and group counseling services as needed
- Offer crisis intervention and behavioral support in school settings
- Lead or participate in multidisciplinary team meetings across three building sites
- Serve as a resource regarding behavioral and learning difficulties
- Promote positive school climate and student wellbeing
