Key Qualifications:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification or eligibility to obtain MI licensure prior to start (open to out-of-state candidates willing to obtain certification quickly)
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Robust skills in student assessment, intervention design, and mental health support
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility and a team-driven mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and interpret results to guide educational decisions
- Participate in problem-solving teams for individualized student support
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention and support plans
- Provide consultation on behavioral and academic interventions
- Engage in initiatives that promote positive school climate and student resiliency
Assignment Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week during the academic year (8/25/26–6/11/27)
- Work assigned to 1–2 buildings within a five-building district, supporting diverse student populations
- Onsite presence is required—no teletherapy
