Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience working with K-12 students is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of educational assessments, IEP development, and behavioral intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and counseling skills, with the ability to work with diverse student populations
- Familiarity with MTSS/RTI, and willingness to participate in team-based problem solving
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students in general and special education
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Providing direct counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing support to students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties
- Consulting with educators, administrators, and families on student needs, progress, and best practices
- Delivering professional development and training to staff as needed
- Helping to foster an inclusive and positive school environment
