Desired Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist licensure in Ohio is a must
- Experience in a school setting preferred, especially working with junior high school students
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Ability to develop individualized educational and behavioral strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Adept at managing confidential information and sensitive situations with professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in grades 7-8
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
- Provide direct counseling services to individuals and small groups as needed
- Develop and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Assist in creating a positive, inclusive school climate
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and mental health support
