Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across a dynamic K-12 setting. This full-time position allows you to collaborate with a dedicated team in evaluating student needs and actively participating in case conferences that shape educational plans. You’ll work approximately 7.5 hours each day, with specifics aligned to the unique schedules of assigned school buildings.
We have three openings available, reflecting the demand for passionate, skilled professionals to provide essential psychological services. You may be placed in a high school, elementary school, or a grades 5-8 building, with locations finalized based on student needs and your strengths.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Effective communication abilities for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to support various school communities and grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations utilizing a range of assessment tools
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary and case conference meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide expertise in interpreting test results and determining eligibility for special services
- Help foster a positive, supportive school environment for students’ academic and social-emotional growth
