School Psychologist (Short Term Leave) – School-Based | Williamsburg, VA 23187
ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time maternity leave assignment within a supportive school community in the Williamsburg area for the upcoming school year. This short-term opportunity is ideal for a clinician looking to make a meaningful impact while supporting students through assessments, interventions, and collaborative team services.
Position Details:
Full-Time
37.5 hours per week
Maternity Leave Coverage
Start Date: August 17, 2026
End Date: October 2, 2026
Onsite school-based role
School assignment based on district need
K–12 support as assigned
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families
Support intervention planning and student services
Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams
Maintain compliance with Virginia DOE and district timelines
Qualifications:
Active Virginia School Psychologist license required
Active VA DOE licensure required
Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
School-based experience preferred
